Empty Hard Gelatin Capsules
Empty gelatin capsules are available in
various colors and color combinations including transparent and metallic
capsules. These capsules are also available in various sizes.
Raw Material
In order to ensure supply of quality goods
to the Customer, the right kind of materials are procured from the right
source.
The Principal raw materials involved include TSE/BSE free Gelatin and Color
Pigments.
Color Pigments : Colorants are used as per specific requirements of
Customers and food colors are confirming to B.I.S. We are providing our
customers exact color shades as per their customized requirement. The color
shade is consistent in all the batches of production. The color pigments
used are strictly as per I.P. 1996. The color shade once developed for a
customer is allotted a code and is always reproduced on repeat of orders.

All the aforesaid colors are permitted under Government of India Drug and
Cosmetics Act to be used in manufacturing of drugs. However, any other
specified color can also be used as per customers' requirement and approved
under the act.
When developing capsules for our export clients, we
develop colors using only those colors which are approved & allowed in
that country.
In order to maximize the productivity and yield and minimize the cost of
production at our Customers’ end; we are providing Capsules with
following features:
Gelatin : We are using bone gelatin of pharmaceutical grade (as per
IP), which is
always free from
BSE and TSE.
Printing & Testing

Printing : We are equipped with excellent quality
printing machines, which are made in (Erawat Engineering Pvt. Ltd. &
have the expertise of printing on capsules as per customized requirements.
We provide printing in several varieties as follows:

- Circular Printing
a. Double color oriented

- we also provide metallic printing on capsules which give
excellent safeguard from counterfeiting possibilities

2. Filling Machine
Performance: We are manufacturing Capsules fit to perform excellently on
all type of filling machines including Fully Automatic
like Zanasi, GKF, PAM, Se jong, MG2 at speeds as high as 150,000
capsules/hr. etc. and all Semi Automatic Machines and Hand Filling Machines
& also complies to USP & B.P. too.
3. Standards : Our product is complying with
Specifications as per I.P. & also cmplies to USP & BP. 1996 in terms
of Dimensions, Brittleness, Uniformity of weight, Disintegration Time,
Microbiological Limits, Loss on Drying, Storage and Labeling. We maintain
quality better than Specified in I.P. as per the Specification Sheet of
Erawat Pharma Limited.
